Experience our peaceful & modern holiday home at Percy Wood Golf Country Park. Discover the magical vibe of Alnwick Castle, the beautiful coast of Northumberland, Warkworth, Alnmouth, and beyond.
The space is modern, cosy and a sun-trap, featuring decking chairs and a brolly to help you get the most out of the abundance of warm and sunny days, complemented by stunning views over the tree lines of the golf course.
The space
Escape to a peaceful retreat in Percy Wood and enjoy the ideal romantic getaway or family holiday - yes, we are also pet friendly!
Spread out in the open plan living and dining space, furnished with cosy and comfortable furnishings, perfect for settling in and relaxing. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table and a spacious living room with two sofas and a TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime or Disney +. The double bedroom includes a double bed, built-in wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
Our outdoors in the sunny garden area – furnished with comfy patio furniture, two sun loungers and giving views of the woods – or you can go and enjoy complimentary use of our 18-hole golf course & a golf buggy available to rent.
The Bari Bar Social Club in Swarland village hosts live music on certain weekends and features a small shop on-site. For additional shopping, the closest village shop is in Felton, whilst Alnwick and Morpeth offer a variety of shops. Occasionally, vending vans offering food and sweets can be found near the reception area.
Our holiday home is a great place to stay when exploring Northumberland's beautiful coastline and unique destinations. Explore the nearby towns and villages full of great sites and experiences, or relax in the stunning surroundings of Northumberland National Park; it's all on our doorstep! Just a 5-minute drive away lies Warkworth, Alnmouth, the lovely town of Alnwick with its Harry Potter Castle, and the gorgeous Alnwick Gardens.

It is a luxury two-bedroom holiday lodge in the heart of Northumberland with an available private parking spot next to the lodge for you.
The site does not have a shop; the closest village shop is in Felton; otherwise, you have quite a few shops in Alnwick & Morpeth.
Other things to note
- We welcome well-behaved pets for a fee of £25 per pet up to 2 pets max, which would be a total of £45 - an extra fee to cover the cost of cleaning the premises after a pet has stayed.
- We also have a golf buggy available for rent for £15 per day. Please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
- Children can stay in our holiday home, and we provide a travel cot but no high chair.

A lovely cabin
A lovely cabin set in a beautiful quiet location and ideal for exploring the local area and coast. The accommodation has everything you need and very comfortable. Kristopher the host is very helpful and we would not hesitate in recommending this for a great stay.

Completely exceeded our expectations!
First impressions upon stepping into the cabin were of how clean and spacious it was! Completely exceeded our expectations, best little holiday property we have stayed in by far. Even the kids loved it! The holiday park is beautiful and it is set in a lovely little area. 😊 Kristopher sent us check in details and directions ahead of time which was a great help. There was a welcome pack laid out with all the information we required for staying here, including recommended local restaurants. The absolute cherry on the cake for us though was the lovely little touches, left by the host- board games and books available for use which made it seem like a home from home.
